Bye Ngozi
Even though I did not always agree with Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, her resignation as the Nigerian foreign affairs minister is long overdue, and I respect her for that.One would recall that Ngozi was redeployed from finance to the foreign affairs ministry, abruptly, about two months earlier. Just yesterday she was dropped as the head of the economic reform team, a unit she helped start and nurture during her three-year stint with Obasanjo.
I'm sure that there is more to Ngozi's move that meets the eye; whatever they are it definitely does not portend a good omen for the nation.
